My passion is supporting each client's personal journey of growth and life management. This requires, and I offer, respect for each person's culture, beliefs, and life experiences. It is my strong belief that each person is the authority on her own life. With caring and skilled guidance, each client can reach his goals. I blend techniques from narrative, solution focused, cognitive-behavioral, and other types of therapy, choosing an approach that most effectively supports that client's journey. |
For therapy to be effective, you need to be comfortable with your therapist. So let me introduce myself . . .
About Linda
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist [MFT], licensed by the State of California Board of Behavioral Sciences. California License # 41878

I am a Registered Dietitian, Registration # 487799.
Whichever professional you choose to see for therapy, counseling, or coaching, please do yourself the favor of verifying their professional credentials. When a person is licensed, their training and experience has been determined to be adequate to provide mental health services. In California MFT licenses can be verified at www.bbs.ca.gov.
Once you have verified licensure, choose a therapist with whom you feel comfortable. Research has shown that the relationship between therapist and client is the biggest factor in producing positive results in therapy.
Registered Dietitians have completed academic and experience requirements established by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the American Dietetic Association's credentialing agency, including a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and an accredited pre-professional experience program (i.e., internship, traineeship, etc.). Dietetic registration can be verified by checking the American Dietetic Association website: http://eatright.org/.
